Calling: Fellow helping professionals, centre managers (and beyond…) if you would like your beneficiaries to reap the health benefits that music offers, seek out a conversation with a credentialed music therapist. Keep this in mind: Not everyone will need music therapy, but most would do well to have more music in their lives.

If you are starting a music-based programme serving demographics who may benefit from having more music in their daily / leisure activities but do not have a budget (yet) to hire a music therapist, it is worthwhile to have a professional consultation with an experienced credentialed music therapist. Similarly, if you have an existing programme for your clients (e.g. in a nursing home or senior activity centre), it is possible to arrange for an onsite visit and consultation. Let music do the work for you!
